Determination
A framed and matted open edition African American motivational poster featuring an image of the Little Rock Nine. A group of African American students registered at the school by the NAACP that attempted to integrate Little Rock Central High School after the historic Brown vs. Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas ruling. It resulted in the Little Rock Crisis where federal troops had to step in at the request of the Mayor of Little Rock and President Eisenhower to enforce integration and protect the students. The poster is meant to instruct the viewer that all things are possible when you are determined to make something happen. It features the phrase “Determination” and contains the following inspirational quote:
The size of the obstacle is unimportant, having the courage and conviction to overcome it is important.
