A high quality figurine hand crafted and hand painted out of hard paste porcelain in Spain. This stunning sculpture depicts an African American nurse making her daily rounds at the hospital. In her right hand is a pen and in her left hand is her clipboard as she stands in traditional/vintage nursing attire. This statue is made out of 100% porcelain in the Valencia, Spain at the Lladro workshop also known as “The City of Porcelain” or the “Factory of Dreams”. This figurine measures 13.75 inches (Height) x 5.5 inches (Length). This porcelain figurine featuring an African American woman working in the nursing profession was originally issue in 1996 and was designed by acclaimed sculptor, Marco Antonio Nogueron. Each sculpture has Lladro engarved on its base as an symbol of authenticity.
