“A revolutionary woman can’t have no reactionary man. If he’s not about liberation, if he’s not about struggle, if he ain’t about building a strong Black family, if he ain’t about building a strong Black nation, then he ain’t about nothing.” – Assata Shakur
This limited edition release by K.A. Williams II also known by the moniker WAK depicts a couple who are committed to the struggle, committed to the fight for equality and committed to one another. They stand together after taking action. They marched in the streets and let their voices be heard. Protesting the police brutality that George Floyd endured and the inequality and oppression that people of color still deal with every day.
