This authentic West African mask features the Adinkra “Gye Nyame” symbol. Gye Name represents “God’s Omnipresence” and the “Supremacy of God” and is the most popular Adinkra symbol in Ghana.
It is hand-carved out of Sese wood, hand painted and hand embellished by master Ghanaian artisan Theophilus Sackey. The mask is painted black and then hand-embellished with cream hues. Measures 10.75 inches (Height) x 3.9 inches (Length) x 2.4 inches (Diameter).
