Indian Paintbrush by Thomas Blackshear is a rare limited edition giclee on canvas that depicts and Native American holding a paint brush in his hands with a butterfly on it as he stands in front of a background that features a full moon in the night sky and a rainbow. This piece was originally entitled “Spirit of the West” but was renamed “Indian Paintbrush” after Thomas Blackshear became aware of a flower that grows in the West of the same name that was eaten by various Native American ethnic groups.
