You May Kiss The Bride
In Roman times kissing was a legal bond that sealed all contracts and the kiss that takes place during marriage would be the first kiss between the bride and the groom. Â
This open edition release by low country Gullah artist Cassandra Gillens depicts an African American couple on wedding day during their first kiss. The bride is in a flowing white dress and holding a bouquet of flowers. They are preparing for a stage of life and ready to embark upon it together.
Special Note About Oversized Canvas Version: The oversized canvas prints are made on demand and not an item we carry in inventory. Oversized canvas prints take 10 to 15 business days to ship.
